Due to an approaching retirement date the in-car driving lessons will be dis-continued until further notice. Another driving school is currently in the DMV application and training process and should be up and running by spring of 2024. 
I will provide a link to their services after that happens. 5 Hour Pre-license classes on zoom have ended for 2023 and may be continued in the future.

The NYS DMV Approved 5 Hour Pre-Licensing Course
Before a driver can schedule a road test, they must complete the 5 Hour Pre-Licensing Course.
This course will help new drivers to learn basic rules of the road and teach them how to handle different driving situations. By the end of the course, students will be able to:
•Understand basic traffic rules and their reasons 
•Know how to handle various situations on the road 
•Understand how different factors affect their driving 
•Understand the effects of alcohol and other drugs on driving ability

The cost for the 5 Hour Pre-Licensing Course is $40.00
IMPORTANT NEW LAW - YOU MUST HAVE THE PHOTO PERMIT TO TAKE THE CLASS AND RECEIVE THE MV-278 CERTIFICATE 
THE TEMPORARY PAPER PERMIT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

5 Hour Pre-License Class
To take the Zoom 5 Hour Pre-license class the student must be connected, their full face visible to the instructor and able to answer questions as well as view the PowerPoint presentation and videos. Students must also be in a comfortable location free of distractions. 

Any student deemed by the instructor to be distracted, out of view or dis-connected for longer than a few minutes may be denied a certificated and be required to re-take the class.
